Thank you, Carla. Long story, but it was a magical day and a magical plant experience at a local prairie. :)
DeleteOh, these are lovely photos, Beth. The raindrops augment the beauty of each bloom/leaf just beautifully! Tina
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tina. It was a magical afternoon. :)
Deletegreat pictures! what perfect macros, what simplicity and purity!
ReplyDeleteHappy ww 🤗
Thank you, Carmen. :) I was lucky to visit the prairie just after the rain. Happy WW!
DeleteI can't decide what's more wonderful: the butterfly, your photos, or rain in August. Enjoy your magical day, Beth!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kris. :) I kind of cheated...these photos were taken last week. Yes, rain in August is welcomed!
DeleteGorgeous photos. I love close-ups, especially with droplets. My favorite is the purple coneflower.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lisa. I set out to do a butterfly survey that day, after the rain. But while I didn't see many butterflies, I did notice the beauty of the raindrops on the plants. :)
DeleteLove rainy flowers. :) So beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yes, the rain brings beauty and magic. :)
DeleteAmazing macros!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this series!
Happy Today and a fine week!
Thanks for stopping by, Suzana! You have a great week, too. :)
DeleteUnbelievably fresh!. This is so calming, lovely!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a lovely day after the rain...perfect temps and the plants were so fresh and healthy. :)
DeleteThese are beautiful! We had a quarter inch of rain the other day. Although it wasn't much, it was nice to see it again.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jerry. Once again, today, we had a downburst. And it's very hot. Some of the plants are very happy about both, and others seem to be struggling in the heat (ferns, some roses, other plants). Best wishes for better weather for both of us in the weeks ahead.
DeleteThe raindrops look like magic crystals. Awesome pictures!
ReplyDeleteOh. And the flowers are beautiful too. I really couldn't take my eyes off of the raindrops.

Yes, it was a magical feeling that day. Thank you. My purpose was different when I set off on my hike, but the rain and the plants and blooms were so fascinating.
DeleteDelightful images, Beth. Flowers always look fresher after a rain! Eliza
ReplyDeleteThanks, Eliza! Yes, the rain really perks everything up. :)
