Love the backlit orange, reflective of summer's end. Well done, Beth! Tina
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tina. The angles of the sun this time of year sure do work their magic. ;-)
DeleteI love seeing the sunlight through the backs of flowers! My first tithonia blossom finally opened two days ago, hurray! I have 'Torch'.
ReplyDeleteYay! Enjoy! They are magical blooms, aren’t they? It’s great to see pollinators on them, too. :)
DeleteBacklighting makes a beautiful bloom even more so!
ReplyDeleteThe sun works its magic, doesn’t it? Happy early autumn. :)
DeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you. The light is so interesting this time of year. :)
DeleteWOW... Beth, this is a great photo!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carla. It caught my eye, and seemed like a good subject. :)
DeleteTricky to get sunbeams without lens flare. And perfect for a Tithonia a queen of late Summer. Brava, and have fun at the upcoming Fling. I'll be wishing I was there (unless they get a heat wave).
ReplyDeleteTithonias are wonderful, aren't they? Wish you'd be at the Fling, too. I'm looking forward to it!
Deleteyes, waning sunlight ... already! sigh
ReplyDeleteI have mixed feelings about September. It's a beautiful month, but the days get shorter so fast. Lovely things still blooming, though...until mid-October with the first frost. :(
DeleteStunning capture.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Donna. :)

Thank you, Janice. Welcome. :)
DeleteI love the rays of sunlight filtering into your shot and illuminating the Tithonia. Lovely image!
ReplyDeleteThank you. The Tithonias are still blooming...yay! Not much longer, though.
DeleteOH THE BORDER GARDEN! So perfect.
ReplyDeleteTithonias are magical, aren't they? :)
DeleteMy Tithonia didn't reseed itself this year. They are now on my seed wish list for spring. Your beautiful picture made me realize how much my butterflies miss them.

Thanks. They are such pollinator magnets, and so lovely, too. I always start them from seed indoors during late winter/early spring. :)
