    1. Thank you, Kris. Damselflies and dragonflies are pretty common here, partially because of the nearby ponds and lakes. This year, it seems like I'm seeing more damsels and dragons than butterflies.

  5. Love your photos Beth. How do you get the dragonflies to light on something green? In my garden they nearly always choose something that makes an unattractive background like brown iris leaves that are dying back or worse. The roses are pretty.

    1. Thanks, Susie. I merely observe and snap the photos. They are plentiful in the sunny potager garden. The roses always cheer me up, especially when they attract beautiful pollinators. :)
