    1. Yes, now things are getting so busy with the warmer weather. We have so much catching up to do in these colder climates when spring hits. And yes, time to move from a winter to a spring/summer theme. :)

    Slowly but Surely . . . springtime shows its magic . . .
We are finding some snow to boot across the pond . . .

    1. Yes, it appears spring is here for good now--no freezes in the 10-day forecast, anyway. Yay! I'm late responding because of all the chores and projects on the plate. I forgot how frenetic this time of year can be!

    1. Yes, it appears that was the case. Every year is different, isn't it? I only saw a few of them this year, and they only lasted a few days. But at least they made an appearance. :)

    1. Yes, no choice but to wait. But it's a sweet reward! The little Winter Aconites are so tiny and cute.

  6. Too early here, but as soon as I see a Halberd Leaf violet, I'll know spring has arrived.

    1. Spring is here! Finding your violet will be exciting, if it hasn't happened already? We don't have that type of Viola here, although we do have some yellow ones. Enjoy!

    1. Thank you, Aaron. They're so inspiring. I almost enjoy the buds as much as the flowers!

    1. Yes, and since this post...so much more. It's at this time of year when I sometimes fall behind on my blogging duties. ;-)

    1. Yes, you would enjoy them! I need more! I think I'll try some in pots...and maybe closer to rocks and the house foundation. They seem to like more alkaline soil.

    1. Yes. That's interesting you say it. They did seem to appear in larger numbers at about the same time.

    1. Yes, I think so, too. I thought the Aconites would bloom first, but they bloomed after the Tommies.
