Thanks for stopping by! Have a great gardening day!
I love it. :-) Us Wisconsin folks look for any sign we can of summer. Hee Hee ... thank you Beth for sharing. Makes me feel a bit warmer on this cold morning, -8 here this morning.
ReplyDeleteMy African Violets are blooming right now, it is so pretty to see that pop of purple.
Oh, African Violets! I need to start some of those again. My grandma used to have quite a collection, and they were beautiful! Happy "late winter"! ;-)
DeleteLovely images that give hope for spring to come soon. Nicely captured.
ReplyDeleteThanks! This is the most difficult month of the year for me, but the plants in the sunroom help.
DeleteAll your photos are wonderful, but I especially like the soft light oxalis flower!
ReplyDeleteThank you. :) I don't have a favorite plant--I love them all. But that Oxalis is definitely my current favorite POTTED plant, in the sunroom in winter and in its pot in the garden from May through October.
DeleteI'm glad you have a sunroom to tide you through winter in Wisconsin, Beth! I wish I could send you a little of our (excessive) winter warmth. The clock just chimed 10am and it's already 80F here today. (I'd trade that warmth for a bit of rain in a second.)
ReplyDeleteThe sunroom keeps hope alive, Kris. ;-) 80F sounds perfect about now! The weather forecast in the next couple of weeks looks OK, so it seems we've made it through the coldest days. Yay!
DeleteThe oxalis is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a favorite plant, but that Oxalis may be my favorite POTTED plant. It blooms year-round, and the colors and shapes of the foliage and the flowers are gorgeous together!
DeleteThe pops of color must be so welcome during cold February. Enjoy, and spring is not too far off.. :) Tina
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed. Usually, for me, February is the toughest month here, because it seems like "more of the same." This year, we're getting a break with some warm (50s) temps, so that helps. :)
DeleteWinter flowers help us get the winter, where'd we be without them? :) Eliza
ReplyDeleteOh, I couldn't agree more, Eliza! I'm so thankful I have a sunroom and plants that perform well in there. :)
DeleteWhat pretty things you have blooming in winter!
ReplyDeleteThe blooming indoor plants help us to survive winter. ;-)
DeleteSo much beauty. Happy Valentine’s Day my friend. May it be full of joy, hope and love.
