  1. We all need a reminder that life goes on whatever else may be happening - that's the central magic of a garden.

  2. Thanks for the post and reminder that life goes on in good ways. It's hard to be hopeful these days, our world seems to be going so backwards.

    1. Yes, it is difficult. So much to say about the situation...trying to find hope...even in little ways.

  5. Can you believe we just had another storm last night. 3 more inches. Just when more robins are returning. The red winged blackbirds came early this morning during the worst of the storm. It made my heart hopeful and glad.

    1. Oh, goodness! I haven't seen any robins yet, but someone mentioned they'd seen red-winged blackbirds in the area. We have swings in temperature and weather in the forecast for the next ten days. March will be March. :)

    1. I'm sure we'll have more snow yet, but it will be in the 60s here on Saturday. And then cold wintry weather next weekend. March is crazy!

  7. How exciting. I still can't see any sign of snowdrops in the sunny spot next to the house.

    1. I'd thought about raking away all the leaves that cover some of my beds, but I'm going to keep them in place until after next weekend, when the weather will be cold. :(

    1. Yes, for sure! We're in a brief cold snap again, but I'm really looking forward to all the treasures that will appear from mid-March on. It's a special time of year!

    1. I so agree. We just got another dusting of snow, but it's melting fast with the sun and the longer daylight. Yay.

  10. Loving it. I am on spring watch as the snow melted and we are definitely in the beginnings of early cold spring.

  11. My snowdrops look about the same as yours. Have not seen Hellebores yet. Figure I will check for things once the warmer days begin on Sunday.

    1. A few more little friends are poking out now, but it will be slow with the cold days ahead. Brrr...
