Six words of wisdom

“If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly,
our whole life would change.”
~Buddha

“I think, at a child’s birth, if a mother could ask a fairy godmother
to endow it with the most useful gift, that gift would be curiosity.”
~Eleanor Roosevelt

“There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
~Albert Einstein

Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
~Steve Jobs

“Plant your own garden and decorate your own soul,
instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.”
~Veronica A. Shoffstall

“Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible;
and suddenly you are doing the impossible.”
~St. Francis of Assisi

  1. Great minds think alike. I am using your first quote (Buddha) for a posting on my other Blog with pictures of my garden. That Blog is more about inspiration and my thoughts on life and issues. Not as "calm "as my regular garden Blog! Nice posting today. Jack

  8. What a wonderful post, Beth! Words of wisdom indeed. I plan to book mark this page and come back and reread them often. If we all lived our lives this way, somehow I can't help but think the world at large would be a better place. Thank you for your insight throughout the year. Happy New Year!
