Bu...The bees are pretty plentiful here, too, Sarah. But I guess declining populations are a problem in some parts of the country. And bee colony collapse is unfortunate. I agree--they're fun to watch, and they're beneficial. I only saw a few monarchs in my garden, but I saw quite a few at the state parks.
