Sadly, the garden is starting to fade now, and I'm looking more forward to next year's garden than this one because of some pretty major rabbit damage. :( But the sunny garden (fenced in by triple layers of wire) is faring much better than any other part of the garden. I can't fence in everything, so some major adjustments are in store to keep the rabbits out!Beth at PlantPostingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10473637655960119672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3905148744278712684.post-78660295610126379722015-08-26T16:16:40.857-05:002015-08-26T16:16:40.857-05:00Hello Christine: Thank you for your visit and your...Hello Christine: Thank you for your visit and your kind words. I kind of figured the red would go with the "zowie" colors in that garden, but it's just not quite the right shade of red--more of an orange-red would work better. So, next year I'll look for purple or pink Pentas to complement the other colors. Plus, the Monarchs seem to prefer it for laying their eggs. Regarding Angelonia, I can't figure out why I didn't discover it until now.
